Chopta – Chandrashila is a very beautiful and its paved way will take you to the place where Lord Shiva used to meditate. This 3-day trek will make your mouth open with its beauty and during winters it is like paradise and in itself is special. The trail snaking through soft snow under the canopy of oak and rhododendron trees is almost dream-like. When you reach to the top of the summit, you will see perhaps the greatest mountain views of our Indian Himalayas. This beautiful trek is like a grand feast — there is so much to take in that you cannot take all of it in. Chopta – Chandrashila trek should be on every adventurists bucket list, so if you are adventure love and at the same time you cannot have much time to share then this trek is for you. This trek is an experience many trekkers cannot forget. This trek starts from Chopta and is an easy to moderate trek and the best time to visit is from October to May.

DAY 1: RISHIKESH TO CHOPTA

Start your trip at 6:30 am & pitstop at 2 Prayags - Rudraprayag and Devprayag. Spot the famous confluence point and maybe get some good photos of it. The moment you enter Chopta, you will be greeted by vast lush green meadows looking somewhat like a large garden. Reach Chopta by afternoon & check in to your stay. Freshen Up & relax in the lap of nature. You can opt to go for an acclimatization walk. Overnight stay at Chopta

DAY 2: CHOPTA TO CHANDRASHILA

Wake up early & witness the beautiful sunrise & have breakfast. Start your trek to Tungnath. Reach Tungnath & pay your respect at the highest abode of Lord Shiva. Enjoy your refreshment & start your journey to most astonished Chandrashila peak (if weather permits)Come back to the stay by evening, dinner. Overnightstay at Chopta.

DAY 3:CHOPTA TO DEORIA TAL

Wake up to another beautiful morning & have breakfast. Post Breakfast, head to Sari Village ( Starting point of Deoria Tal trek ). Start your trek to astonishing Deoria Tal. Reach Deoria Tal & enjoy the stunning view. Trek back to sari village & depart for Rishikesh. Reach Rishikesh by evening 7 pm ( tentatively )
